Combat Clay

Our Bentonite Clay is a natural, USA-mined clay known for its ability to detoxify, soothe skin, and support overall wellness.

What is Combat Clay?

Combat Clay is a product name BIBTE Mining has assigned to the clay, which is mined from BIBTE Mining’s mines. The scientific name for Combat Clay is Calcium Bentonite.

Why is the name Combat Clay?

BIBTE Mining has rebranded the name of the clay we mined so as not to be compared to or
associated with common Calcium Bentonite

Why is Combat Clay better than common Calcium Bentonite Clay?

Combat Clay is composed of about 77% Montmorillonite, a micro (1 -2 nanometers) crystal and 23% Calcium Sulphate (Gypsum), Calcium Carbonate and trace minerals. The Montmorillonite crystals, when exposed to water, swell up and beak the chemical bonds of within the crystal, which allows the individual atoms to re-combine into an aluminum silicate molecule. This aluminum silicate molecule is suspended in the water forming a colloidal suspension. It is one of the most effective and powerful healing clays used to treat both internal and external maladies.

A significant issue with Common Calcium Bentonite is, once the Montmorillonite crystals, which are the active mineral in Bentonite, are exposed to water, the crystals are destroyed and the aluminum silicate molecule is suspended in the water. Once the water dries up the aluminum silicate molecule is destroyed rendering the common Calcium Bentonite in dry lake beds and deposits inert.

Where does Combat Clay originate?

Combat Clay is mined at 3,500 feet in the mountains, making it truly unique for two key reasons: its exceptionally high concentration of Montmorillonite crystals and its remarkable purity, containing virtually no heavy metals, toxins, or contaminants.

Where does common Calcium Bentonite Clay originate?

Common Calcium Bentonite clay is mined from dry lake beds where the common Bentonite Clay has, during exposure to rain and runoff, becomes contaminated with various, harmful heavy metals, toxins and fecal matter.

What is common Calcium Bentonite Clay used for?

Common Calcium Bentonite is a common mineral found around the world. It is used in many industrial applications including as a lubricant for drilling rigs, an absorption in cat litter, desiccant, etc. Common Calcium Bentonite is, also, used in various cosmetic and skin care products. The Calcium Bentonite used in these applications is, significantly, inferior to Combat Clay.

What mining process contaminates common Calcium Bentonite Clay?

Common Calcium Bentonite clay is mined using heavy equipment, which can, further, contaminate the clay with petroleum products, including grease, diesel fuel, paint, etc.
